Here you can see a recent selection of my 2D & 3D Artwork.  I mostly work using Modo, Lightwave3D, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator, although sometimes other packages will be leveraged to deliver the required result.

Some of the pieces here were designed for myself, and others were designed for clients.  Not all of the artwork I produce for clients can be shown here, and some of that which is displayed may only appear several months after their creation due to Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA’s).  If you’re looking to have some work done and wish it to be under NDA, I will happily sign them and fax/e-mail them back to you if you require it!

2D

This icon was done as the basis for an as-yet unreleased icon.  It is based on the Canon EOS 400D camera, and was drawn from scratch in Illustrator.

This icon was designed by me using Modo, Photoshop & Illustrator for Propane by Trevor Squires.

These icons were designed using Modo for Structural, by Totland Software.

These two icons are the Safari browser icon, and the Terminal application icon from Mac OS X, both released by Apple, re-done completely from scratch by me whilst testing out a new tablet.  They are not intended to be perfect copies, merely my own “spin” on the icons, using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

These dice icons were done for the iPhone game  DiceCombo by BrowserMedia, using Modo and Photoshop.

This icon was for Phlipper, an iPhone game by Stutsman Software.  I also designed some of the in-game graphics for the game, which can be seen in screenshots on the developer’s website.

These three icons were designed for iPlayer Downloader, which was co-written by myself and Lawrence Dudley, again using Modo as well as Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator.

These icons was designed for my unreleased Dockthemer application for Mac OS X, in Modo & Photoshop.

This icon was designed for my Dockswitcher application for Mac OS X, in Lightwave3D and Modo.

This icon is an unused icon, designed using Modo & Lightwave3D.

3D

Most if not all of the work here was made using Modo or Lightwave3D, with texturing being created in Photoshop or Illustrator.

This image is part of a series of images made around the concept of an artist’s desk lit solely by lava-lamps and compute screens, made using Photoshop & Lightwave3D

This image is a re-imagining of a previous “artist’s desk” scene, this time using Modo.

This is an experimental use of IES-based lighting made using Modo.

These rings were designed for a jewellry-making friend, and the render was so nice I decided to include it here as a demonstration of the photorealism achievable today.  Made using Lightwave3D & Modo.
